Native/Pack Rat Outdoor Adventure Camp is an intermediate summer environmental science, math, art and literacy day camp created to develop and encourage a love of nature discovery and problem solving through hands on activities and field experiences while improving their leadership and stewardship skills.  Participants will need to have completed an overnight camping experience before attending Native/Pack Rat Outdoor Adventure Camp.

PARENT -  Frequently Asked Questions

Monday  - Gear Check/Orientation will be at Pack Rat Outdoor Center in
                 Fayetteville  (9:00 am)
                 Transportation will be provided for Lunch and Swim Tests.
                 Lunch will be provided by Mellow Mushroom.
                 Swim Tests - Wilson Park Pool
Tuesday - 7:30-8:30 Drop off at Pack Rat - Transportation Provided to
                 Byrds Adventure Center

Tuesday > Friday - Byrds Adventure Center  -  FUN ACTIVITIES!!

Friday -    Transportation back to Pack Rat - Pick up (7:30 pm)

Campers may bring a grocery bag of healthy snacks (no candy) to camp contained in a sealed plastic container.  Snacks must be individually packaged for consumption.  No cold storage or fresh fruit please (granola bars, dried fruit, nuts, chips, gummy snacks, and crackers are fine)

Water bottles, Hats, and Tank Tops will be given to each camper!

Youth may bring cell phones to take pictures - however cell service is very limited on property and kids will not be allowed to use their phones during activities.

Insurance coverage is provided by Pack Rat
Outdoor Center.

Staff Ratio = 1 staff / 2-3 campers
    Camper allotment caps at 25 participants

Note to parents:  Both Native Expeditions and Pack Rat staff are skilled, trained in wilderness first aid/CPR, and insured.  Our first priority is your child's safety.

COST: $225      scholarships available
Native Expeditions will take credit cards by phone
Camp packet registrations may be dropped off at Pack Rat - please email Camp Director when you do.
