SATURDAY DECEMBER 20th

Native Expeditions is partnering to help foster children in need this holiday season through our Native Youth Leadership Council.  We will be making holiday cards this Saturday and collecting donations to support The Call of NWA.  https://www.facebook.com/NWACALL   This is based upon the foster care organization.  http://thecallinarkansas.org/

Collecting:  Childrens sizes 0-17   (pjs, socks, undies, game or coloring book)       A small suitcase/backpack in good condition

This organization helps place foster children in our area. Right now there are around 400 kids in care in Washington & Benton County. There are only around 150 foster homes who need items when they enter a new home.  This organization will provide a small suitcase for as many children as we can for them to carry anything they might have into their new foster home. NO MORE TRASH BAGS! We would also like to provide them with anything they might not have already to get them started for the first night or two in a new home.  Things to help not only the child, but to help the foster parent have a chance to prepare the necessities for their new guest. The ages we are hoping to help are 0-18 years.
