STEWARDS OF THE FOREST CHALLENGE

 How can you get started in restoring habitat to the way it should be for forest wildlife and water creatures, as well as reducing impact on water pollution that impacts humans?  CHALLENGE:  DEVELOP PRINT AND MEDIA PRODUCTS TO PROMOTE GETTING INVOLVED IN STEWARDSHIP CLEAN UP PROJECTS, ORGANIZE CLEAN UP EFFORTS AT YOUR SCHOOL, IN YOUR COMMUNITY, AND WITHIN THE OUACHITA NATIONAL FOREST ALONG (TRAILS, ROADS, RIVERS, STREAMS, AND LAKES)

THE BEST Print Media (poster), 30sec - 1min Video, and project manager for organizing the most impact within the forest for stewardship clean up will be judged and given $100 gift cards, runners up will receive gift cards from Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters.

GETTING STARTED.
Research the Topic

Stewardship:   the conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially :  the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care <stewardship of natural resources>
Discarded Plastic: Plastic litter will begin a journey, blown by the wind or rain into storm drains that lead to our streams and rivers, eventually finding its way into the ocean.  Impacting wildlife and water resources for human consumption along the way.
